1966 Vegavox IV Custom
plectrum banjo serial No 26* - ordered by Eddie Peabody at the Vega factory for his lifelong friend, Alf Alfons - It has a radiased fingerboard and was specially upgraded and fitted with gold plated co-ordinator rods, lugs, etc. as his own banjos were, by Larry Kellens, his banjo technician. The nearest thing to a Peabody banjo out there and purchased from Buddy Wachter (Banjo Hall of Fame 2001) who used it on stage and many of his recordings.

FOR SALE
1930's Vegavox III TB
It is a nice suprise in this day to open the case of an 80 year banjo and find a genuinely honest, well cared for, undamaged instrument that one can fit the bridge, bring to pitch and play without spending any time on adjustments!

1930's Vega Vox III
Tenor banjo with unusual colouring and decoration on the resonator and nice heel carving. Because of the unusual finish and colours of the resonator wall, and extended heel carving, I would guess it was a factory order, rather than a standard stock banjo.
